Joy in the Morning

When I got up this morning this was the view behind our house.  Our little town, down below our ridge, twinkles at night below us until the summer leaves return.  I love it at night.

But everything turns "Sky-Blue-Pink," as I used to say as a little girl, as the sun nears the horizon.  I never can get over the majesty of God's artistry.

But once the sun arose over the horizon something extra-magical happened....

The sun started setting the frozen morning mist aglow!

It was quite breathtaking watching every second's change.

Simply incredible beauty.

And of course Rosie spied it all from her warm indoors vantagpoint.

Including an early morning Cardinal munching on his breakfast.
What a resplendent start to the day!

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life:
weeping may endure for a night,  but joy cometh in the morning."
 (Psalms 30:5 KJV)
