Girls Sewing Purses

Yesterday Heidi and Sofie finished making their own reversible handbags,
thanks to Grandmother's fabric stash and their own determination to learn a new skill.

They learned how to select an outer body, top, and inner fabric
that  coordinated, and how to cut it all out properly.

They assembled and pinned.

                                                 They followed instructions carefully.
Even with siblings "helping."

They learned how to press fusible interfacing.

They sewed, using the correct seam allowances.

And they showed off their beautiful new bags--
Great Job, Girlies!
