Thrifting with Girlfriends!

Yesterday was Diana's last day with us in St. Louis before returning home to California.  So Janine and I pulled out all the stops and took her to do some big league Thrift Shopping--and Diana really loved it.  Our first stop was at the Scholarshop in Clayton.  We were there from opening at 10:00 until 1:00 in the afternoon because it was 50% End of Season Sale on everything in the store! Can you spell CHEAP? Here is Janine and Diana really getting into the swing of things...
By the time we left we had huge bags full of great name brand clothes at rock-bottom prices.
From there we went to our favorite Clayton lunch spot, the City Coffeehouse.
There's nothing like a delicious crepe to restore your shopping energy!
Once we were revived we headed straight over to the Women's Clothing Exchange, better known to Style Network TV viewers as "Resale Royalty."
Needless to say, we spent the rest of the afternoon scouring the racks for high-end name brand resale items.  Like clothes, of course...
and jewelry...
and handbags...
and accessories...
and MORE clothes!
Michael was very helpful and lots of fun to talk to.
We had a total Blast!
And it wasn't too hard on our budgets.
For a whole new wardrobe, if you can believe that!
I will show you some of my scores tomorrow.
Keep thrifting!
