A Good Weekend

Even though summer has returned, and it is now in the mid-90's and humid, it has been a good weekend.  Yesterday I picked up Janine at 7:00 a.m. to head out to the Wildwood Farmer's Market, which is held each Saturday.  Unfortunately I wasn't quite awake enough to remember to snag my camera on the way out the door.  Well, it took us a couple of hours just to get out of town since we found so many Garage Sale signs nearby.  We stuffed the car so much that we had to go home and unload and leave again. :-)  But then we did go to the Market, which is always colorful and full of good things.  I loaded my cart with  plenty of fresh produce to last the week and bought a cold Snow Cone on the way back to the car.  It was plenty hot by then!

From there we happened across an estate sale and a thrift shop--on the way to the mall just to pick up something Janine had ordered, of course--and need I say now I am set back about a month on getting my Ebay inventory listed? I spent all this morning just sorting through and washing things.  But I am SO excited about everything I found--can't wait to get it listed! My little car was SO stuffed; we barely could roll those wheels home. :-)
This morning I also made hot Neiman Marcus Popovers for brunch for Sweetface and me to eat with the homemade Raspberry Jam I bought yesterday--yum!  (Click HERE if you missed the popovers recipe when I posted it.)

Have also been enjoying the bouquet of wildflowers I bought yesterday.

Wildflowers are so incredible.

I love the majolica ducks vase, too.

Aren't the three little ducks gorgeous?
We hope you had a good weekend, too!
