Having Lunch for the Palisades Pals

Last week also had some good features, including hosting this month's Palisades Pals lunch at our home.  Only four of us were able to gather this time--Joy, Karen and Janine-- due to travel and other situations.  So that meant more food for us, right? :-) When I'm hosting I forget to take a lot of photos, but here are a few...

Since it turned cold after the storms and feels like winter now, I decided to make Hot Spiced Apple Cider, Clam Chowder, Ham Salad Sandwiches, Tossed Salad with Onion Dressing, and Mocha-Chocolate Frozen Dessert.  It turned out nicely, I think, and with all the appetizers we had plenty to put us in the mood to chat until four in the afternoon.  I will share some of the recipes with you next time.  Which would you like???

  2. mmmmm.....everything is always so good....with the temperatures, probably the Spiced apple cider, maybe with a tad bit of extra something..wink, wink. But just chatting with this group of ladies for an afternoon is exciting enough. You come away with so many ideas.
