Becky's Birthday Party

We celebrated our friend Becky's birthday at our house Saturday.  It was her 39th birthday (AGAIN--I won't tell you how many times this has happened in the past!)  Everyone brought a dish to share, and it was a great excuse to get together with some of the nicest people we know.  Becky showed off her birthday crown (which rumor has it was last worn by one of her dogs, but at least it's a family tradition now.)

Ruthie and Jeff gave her a very appropriate (mule) t-shirt.

Sweetface and I gave her an appropriate (horse) blouse.

The food was outstanding!

Bob, Becky's better half, was amazingly good about ignoring the rich goodies
and staying on his diet.  He has lost 30 lbs. in ONE MONTH. (Impressive!)

Tina and Cary always bring such cheer to any gathering.

Janine--always charming.

Much-loved cat sitter, Ann, and Jimmy--animal lovers both.

 Paul, always the funny antagonist.

Food makes any gathering more fun!

Becky provided party favors for everyone...

Which included starry sunglasses!

Even our Italian beauty "Bella" looked good in her shades.

The Grand Finale was Becky's birthday cake,
followed by us all going dowstairs to watch Wallace & Grommet's
"The Curse of the Were-Rabbit"--Becky's movie of choice.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, DEAR BECKY!"
