Callie's You Tube "Twin"

Our Callie also goes by the name "Curmudgeon Cat" around here. That is because she is always "kvetching" about something. She has a disturbing habit of standing in the doorway, staring at us, and saying, "Waaa! Waaah! Waaah!"  Endlessly.

Unlike Rosie, who has the teensiest tiniest little "Mew" voice with a question mark at the end, Callie's voice is like a bawling calf, scratchy and loud. All the while she expects us to know what it is she is complaining about.  She just stares us down and bawls until we figure it out.

We look around for a way to placate her.  Is her food or water dish getting too low? Does her litter need scooping for the third time today? Is a door closed? (She has a no-closed-doors-anywhere-anytime policy. Closing even the bathroom door causes Great DRAMA.)

Or does she want us to open a kitchen cabinet door so she can check out the pots and pans? Or open a dresser drawer so she can languish on someone's fine lingerie? Maybe she just wants to languish on top of the refrigerator. You just never know.

I thought Callie was definitely a one-of-a-kind cat.  That is until I discovered HenriLeChatNoir on You Tube.  I think they are twins separated at birth. (Only Henri ended up in Canada, speaking French.) If you have never met this fellow with a hopeless case of existentialism, then you have no idea what we deal with on a daily basis with Callie.  Let me introduce you to Henri, in his own words:
