Annual Baklava Party

This year Tina hosted our girlfriend's annual Baklava making party.  Of course we had plenty of goodies to eat while we made more goodies to eat--we wouldn't want to go hungry while we work.  And I was thankful that the event was held in Tina's kitchen this year because she was the one who had to clean up after the food fight that broke out , I mean after we messed up the kitchen a little bit with accidentally dropped bits of phyllo dough. And it's always great to have something on hand to delight visitors and give as gifts. Nothing gets a smile like Baklava! Here is a LINK to my favorite recipe if you need one.
And if you need another small gift for a girlfriend please preview my new homemaking book on Amazon where you can read the Introduction and Chapter One for free. (See link to the right.)
What are your favorite annual preparations and traditions for Christmas and Hanukkah? Will you do anything new this year?

    1. That may take weeks, as it involves my finishing narrating it, then being edited and processed. I will try to hurry, but this is a busy time of year!
