We have enjoyed having our Colorado children here. Erin and her husband Sean left a couple of weeks ago, but we enjoyed having Daniel here for about a month. We had lots of little adventures including many scenic hikes on nicer weather days, the much-wanted visits to Steak & Shake, as well as seeing the Wild Bird Sanctuary and Lone Elk Park and visiting friends. We have been blessed with mostly good weather this winter and have made the most of it. Now we are trying to settle back into "normal", which is not a bad thing. I have started catching up with all the little things you ignore when family visits including cleaning the house and getting my Ebay store going again. I even hope to get back into my creative side soon. I hope you are enjoying February while it's still here.

  2. Good morning Linda
Oh so much fun with your family outings...I read on past this one to the one before. Such fun!!!
Their leaving I guess is kind of a bittersweet thing.

  3. Yes, you get very attached to them and always hate to say goodbye, no matter how grown up they are.

  4. So nice you got to spend some time with your kids. They grow up so fast. Mine are much younger, but my oldest is almost 17 and I swear I gave birth to him only yesterday! My hubby and I started dating when we were 16, so it's so weird to have a son that same age..LOL :)

  5. Yes, the older they get the less often you get time with them. Enjoy it while you can.
