Blueberry Picking in Mississippi

I drove to Mississippi last week to bring my four grandchildren home with me.  While there my son, Todd, took us to pick blueberries at the Nesbit Blueberry Plantation.

It was a perfect day to fill our buckets with succulent berries. 14 year old Gretchen was a fast picker!

12 year old Heidi found berries everywhere!

10 year old Sofie and Daddy hunt for the best ones.

And 7 year old Ben bites a few right off the bush.

We worked our way down the row alongside other pickers.

Do you think we got enough?

We will be baking blueberries for some time to come!
