A Guided Tour of My 'Nacks Shelf

That's what my girlfriend, LaVonna, call Knick-Knacks. "'Nacks" Ha!  So here goes:

I bought the painted, distressed shelf at the local antique mall.

Beatrix Potter's "Old Mr. Brown" and friends.

Can you tell I love birds?

"Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail" by Beatrix Potter.

Can you tell I love vintage porcelain flowers?

These were my Mom's.

This is a wind-up birdcage that makes bird whistles that I gave my Mom
 shortly before she passed away.

Vintage basket and toy farmyard birds.

Wish I knew what the name of this tiny flower basket is; it's from Germany.

Basket full of trouble!

 From Japan, 1940's?

Beatrix Potter's Knitting Mouse.

Also love Majolica anything.

Pig collection (of two).

Love the colors in this old tiny dish from Kent, England.

Rabbits multiplying.

Which 'Nack do you like best?

Remember, for each comment you leave in the month of May your name will be entered in the Totebag Giveaway! (See Here)

  1. I like the mouse and the rabbit
the best. I'm not in to knacks as much as you are. lol

  2. You didn't mention the little chair the bird is sitting in, it is charming.

    1. The chair came from the White Rabbit shop. A tiny replica of a fifties era metal lawn chair.

  3. Anything Beatrix the stories! I'm a big fan of porcelain pieces, but the birdcage is exceptionally beautiful. What tune does it play? Nice 'knacks'.

    1. It just sounds like a bird singing. My Mom loved it.
