I devised a different kind of curtain rod for our kitchen and breakfast room.
Our house backs to the woods, and I like trees, of course. So I gathered together
bundles of thin twigs (I actually purchased them from a floral supply warehouse),
tied the ends with twine, and now they are curtain rods. To hold them up I
bought black wrought iron shelf brackets at the hardware store.
I had swags over the rods which I had made, but just got these
new valances from the Ballard Home Design catalog.
How do you like it?
Lovely...can't imagine anything else hanging there before....I'm sorry I don't remember your other window treatments...guess I was always too busy looking "into" your beautiful home!
ReplyDeleteWell that's a very nice compliment! :-)
