Our dear friend Nancy is recovering from a major surgery last week. She is still very weak and can't eat yet. Becky had the great idea that we should bake cookies for her family who are sitting with her at the hospital day after day and helping her to regain her strength. So Becky and Ann came over and we baked up a storm; each making her own favorite recipe. It was a fun way to express our love for Nancy and her faithful family. (On the downside, I have eaten too many cookies!)
I found the perfect basket and vintage embroidered scarf for the cookies.
Becky delivered them yesterday; she works at that hospital.
This is Nancy and her sweet Bill
here at our home for our Valentine's Day Party.
I know Nancy would appreciate the prayers
of any of you who would like to do that.
We love you, Nancy!
