Happy Ebay Note Received & Some Updates

     I love hearing from my Ebay customers, as I often do.  They are so thoughtful to send comments about how delighted they were with their purchase, or sending information about how they used their purchase, or who they gave it to.  It makes me feel so happy to get a peek into their lives, however briefly.  But I haven't received a note more delightful than the one I received this week from the woman who purchased this beautiful vintage necklace/earring set. The earrings had been old screwbacks, but I converted them to French wires. I was so tempted to keep them for myself! Now I am glad I let them go.

The note said:
      I just wanted to let you know that I received my necklace/earring set today....and all I can say is "wow"! These are beautiful, and look even better in person! They are perfect...I will be wearing them for my wedding in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to thank you for the speedy shipping...they will complete my 50's wedding outfit perfectly!

   For this Ebay seller it doesn't get much better than that. :-)

   On another subject, you may have noticed a few changes in my blog over the past several weeks.  We have been updating it to look a bit fresher and more practical. There are more changes to come, no doubt, in the future as well.  It's always good to be improving, and in my case sometimes it's at a snail's pace with lots of tweaks in the process.

    I want to give my thanks to Jon Cook of Archway Ink, for his expert and patient assistance in the updates we have made so far. He has also been invaluable in helping to get my upcoming book, Home For Good: Homemaking Simplicity and Contentment, ready for publication.  (Sweetface has been urging me to get this book finished for a very long time, and now we are about ready to go to press--stay tuned.)
