The Porch is Open!

You know winter is over when I finally get our screened-in porch open.

This is not as easy as it sounds. 

Getting the porch ready for summer is a big job,

 requiring much taking things down and putting away,

bringing things out and setting them up,

sweeping and hosing everything off, 

re-arranging of furniture and plant potting. 

 



 

 I know it's done satisfactorily when Rosie approves.

 

 

Once it's all done I'm ready for a nap on my favorite swing.

 

 

Soon we will be inviting others to share it with us

--and that's what it's really all about.
