Crazy Weather, Silly Cats and Back to "Normal"

We have had our usual unusual weather here in the St. Louis area, from a high-wind, one-day snowstorm to days like today when Sweetface and I could hike through the woods in our neighborhood without a jacket. Love it.
While I've spent the week getting back into normal routines since our family visitors left, the kitties have been being their normal silly selves. Probably the silliest antic is when Rosie cries to go outside on the screened-in porch, climbs up on her cat tree perch and sits staring into the house. I love laughing at them every day.
I even got back to my Saturday time to create up in the studio. I found a couple of pieces of remnant vintage fabric, picked up at the local thrift shop for a couple of dollars, combined them with fabrics on hand and made pillow covers. They open on the back for pillow inserts. I will probably put them away for gifts in my gift closet.
What have you been doing this week? I hope you are enjoying "normalcy"; what a gift it is!

  1. It looks like lovely weather for a walk there. The funny thing is, it doesn't look much different where I live. Yesterday it was 45 degrees with no snow on the ground on the 29th of February-IN ALASKA.
